Absolutely. We stand behind the quality of our work and our Installation Department. Every project includes a 1-year installation warranty on Labor, covering any defects that result directly from our installation process.

In addition, all windows and doors are backed by the manufacturer’s warranty, which typically ranges from 5 to 10 years, depending on the brand and product you select. This means you’re protected both by Almuina Windows and Doors and by the manufacturer, ensuring long-lasting performance and peace of mind.

On average, a complete project takes about 10 to 12 weeks from start to finish. Here’s what the process looks like:

  • Permits & HOA approvals: 2–4 weeks

  • Ordering & delivery of windows/doors: 4–6 weeks

  • Installation: 1 week

  • Final inspection: 1 day

Timelines may vary depending on Permits and/or HOA processing times, manufacturer lead times, and the size of the project, but we always keep homeowners updated at every step.

Yes, our windows are impact-rated and engineered to withstand hurricane-force winds and flying debris. Built with laminated glass systems ranging from 5/16” to 9/16” thickness, they meet Florida Building Code requirements and are rigorously tested for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone of Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. This level of testing ensures performance equivalent to withstanding winds of 170+ mph — the strength of a Category 5 hurricane — providing maximum protection, safety, and durability for your home and family.

Low-E stands for Low Emissivity glass. It’s a special coating applied to windows that helps block harmful UV rays and reduce heat transfer, keeping your home cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. This not only improves energy efficiency but also helps protect your furniture and flooring from fading due to sun exposure.
